Stuttgart. For half a decade, almost everything in the lives of the Porsche LMP Team members revolved around the Porsche 919 Hybrid and the company’s successful return to the top category at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. On November 18, the most advanced hybrid racing car of its time took to the track for the last time in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). Fritz Enzinger and Andreas Seidl enlighten us with their personal feelings and emotions concerning the Porsche 919 Hybrid’s farewell, about the high expectations, the pressure of the years past, the highs and lows of the programme as well as about the most important and the most difficult decisions. They offer insights concerning their own personal highlights and what they have regarded as critical periods and they also speak about their tears from joy and concerns about Mark Webber. The two share unfulfilled wishes, thoughts about luck, gratitude and anger and ponder over what they have learnt for the future.
